EARN VOLUNTEER POINTS!
Bronze Metal Award: 10-19 points: The earning at this level is one complete team uniform. This will consist of one pair of shorts (compression or running) and one singlet, or one speed suit. Uniform orders are organized by the Board; therefore, team members need only indicate to the Board which uniform they would like to receive this award.
Silver Metal Award: 20-29 points: The earning at this level is registration for up to three track meets plus Bronze Metal Award earnings. The incentive is to encourage team members to gain experience competing in sanctioned track meets. Team members must submit copies of meet registration confirmations showing the amounts paid to receive this award.
Gold Metal Award: 30 or more points: The earning at this level is registration fees for the 2010 Gay Games in Cologne plus both the Bronze and Silver Metal Award earnings. Team members must submit copies of the Gay Games registration confirmation showing the amount paid to receive this award.
Points earned will not expire after the Gay Games and can be used in future years. Contact Dave Dibley at dibleyda@hotmail.com for questions.
Many of you came forward last year and supported our efforts and we had a great time. We would like to have all of you come forward to VOLUNTEER once again at various Fundraising events. This year our Club has implemented a point system for every SFT&F hosted event you VOLUNTEER. It’s a one for one deal: you volunteer 1 hour you earn 1 point. If you VOLUNTEER to be a GROUP CAPTAIN, you automatically earn 5 additional points plus you will also be given 1 point for each hour you assist at the booth. Your points will be logged in and at the end of the year, all points will be totaled up. Club Treasurer, David Dibley, will be maintaining a spreadsheet for each Fundraising event and tracking your points.
