It was a cold, cloudy Sunday morning at Lake Merced in San Francisco where four of our track team members ran 18 miles, each wearing a Santa hat and knee-high socks. Chris Hastings, Andy Bundy, Aaron Castillo, and Koji Kawano tackled a 4.5-mile loop each and finished the race in 2:03:03. That's 6:54 (that's six minutes and 54 seconds) per mile! We placed 97th out of 295 teams and 10th out of 18 submaster teams. That's good for off-season running, right? Our beloved Frontrunners San Francisco sent whopping 18 teams. It was a fun, friendly, and injury-free race and we all went to delicious brunch after the race. Let's do this again!
